Issue #002 · Winter 25/26
It’s never just about the skiing. Yes, the sensation of sliding down a snow-covered mountain caught our attention in the first place, but it’s everything around it that made us skiers for life. Skiing doesn’t exist in a vacuum – it’s never just about turning left and right all day.
Our experiences on the mountain are inseparable from the people we share them with, the food and drink, the firesides we gather around, the buildings and landscapes we take in, and the beds we rest in. That mix creates the experience of skiing. Without it, we could ski the same run over and over again without it ever becoming more than repetition.
Instead, travel and new encounters shape each place differently, giving every mountain its own story.
In daily life and on our journeys, we’ve seen the power of versatility – clothing that adapts across situations, carrying you from the mountains to the city and back again. Because we believe that the concept of buying less, but better, is the right one moving forward.
The Mountain Studio was founded on the conviction that skiing and mountain life form a culture of their own. One where sport, music, art, architecture, food and respect for nature come together as a whole. That spirit inspired the Field Book Issue #002 – a glimpse into our world.
We hope you enjoy the ride.
